Boris Balibrea, MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza to clinch Ekstraklasa’s playoffs

Boris Balibrea, MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza qualified got Ekstraklasa’s playoffs as MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza storm past GTK Gliwice 73:110 on the road, eventually closing the regular season of the top-tier tournament of Poland at seventh place, with a record of 16 wins and 14 losses.

The game was decided in the first quarter, as the blue-and-white team from the Voivodeship of Silesia delivered an 11:33 break that, de facto, let nothing else to a match that had got only one owner.

Marc García was Dąbrowa Górnicza’s top scorer with 23 points, whereas Nico Carvacho, Tayler Persons delivered double double perfomances of 14 points, 11 rebounds and 13 points, 15 assists each.

In the playoffs, MKS will be facing second-placed Trefl Sopot in a new edition of a European derby between head coaches Žan Tabak and Boris Balibrea.
